Speaking to the Press on Tuesday, July 26, the presidential candidate maintained that he would not proceed to the podium unless all the four candidates were placed on the same podium.

He blamed the media for attempting to sideline his candidature by segregating the contenders and pitting him against Agano Party's David Mwaure who arrived shortly after.

"I am not attending the debate unless we are four," Wajackoyah maintained.

At the entrance to the university, Wajackoyah nearly got physical with a security guard attempting to stop part of his entourage from accessing the facility.

He argued that another car was ferrying his wife.

Previously, the presidential contender had maintained that he would not participate in the debate if all the Presidential candidates, including Raila Odinga of Azimio, William Ruto (Kenya Kwanza), and Mwaure, are not placed on the same podium.

"I will not participate unless there is Raila Odinga, William Samoei Ruto, Mwaure, and I on the same platform speaking before Kenyans, for Kenyans to make an informed choice," he announced on July 21.
