A church in Kinangop, Nyandarua County is counting losses after thieves broke into the church and made away with a property whose worth is yet to be calculated.

The thieves robbed the church of musical instruments, speakers, blessed wine, and sanitizers after deconstructing it's side wall.

According to the African Inland Church, AIC, believers were informed of the horrible act by villagers.

The church leaders called upon the thieves to return the stolen property and repent.

“What shocked us most is that people no longer respect the house of God. A church has blessings and curses. We beg you to return the instruments and repent!” said an elder.

He added: “ if you fail to, you will experience no happiness.”

Johnson Muchai, the church pastor said; “ what has surprised me more is deconstructing the church, a blessed house. A lot of damages have been done too and because they have refused to respect the Holy House of God, we are only entitled to pray for them so they can confess and change. If they don’t change, the Almighty above, the owner of this Church will take over the mantle to deal with them”.

The thieves also drunk sanitizers.
