Two Male Bodies Shot Dead In An Abandoned Probox In Kiambu
Two middle-aged males were found shot dead in an abandoned probox along the Ruiru-Kiambu road, prompting a murder investigation in Kiambu County.

Documents from a Ruiru-based cosmetics company were also discovered in the car at 2:15 a.m.
Stephen Muiruri, the security manager of Tatu City, informed police that one of the estate's security guards, Simon Kinyanjui, notified him to a white Toyota Probox with no registration plates abandoned on the Ruiru Kiambu Road, just a few meters before Destiny Hotel.
Following preliminary investigations, sleuths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Thika suspect the two were murdered somewhere and their remains placed at the spot.
“The vehicle has eight bullet holes on the left and right sides," according to an OB Number 02/09/03/2022 police report filed at the Membley Police Station.
According to police, the guys died as a result of gunshot wounds.
Registration plates bearing the number KCX 385D were discovered in the boot (of the car), according to authorities.
The bodies have been sent to the Nairobi City Morgue for postmortem examination. Further investigations are underway, thus the vehicle has been towed to Ruiru Police Station.
