According to the wiper leader, he termed the move as inhumane and senseless.

He also added that the President swore to protect his citizens and thus the demolitions which he says were fuelled by land grabbers must be condemned in the strongest terms possible.

He accused land grabbers of the inhabitants' woes, claiming that they used the road construction to buy their way into the demolition of other structures with the goal of acquiring the land.

According to Kalonzo, who vowed to bring the victim's petition to the President for prompt resettlement, it is against the Kenyan constitution to demolish someone's property without providing them with an alternative.

He says those responsible for the mess must resign and be investigated over the inhumane treatment of fellow Kenyans and failure in their duty to protect the citizenry.
