Armed men storm a hospitals and steal a patient and assets.

Hospital Theft

Armed men stormed a hospital in Ruai,Nairobi and shoot on the air, forcing everyone to lie on the ground.  They later stole phones and cash from the patients.  According to the guards, the two robbers were riding on a motorbike.  The incident took place on April 10 at around 4AM. 

The reports say that the men were armed with pistons and that they orderd everyone to lie on the ground, take out money and electricals upon arrival.  After the robbing, they took off on an awaiting motorbike. 

Police have announced that no injuries have been reported and no arrest has been made so far. The DCI have surveyed the CCTV of the hospital and captured their movements. 

Investigations on the attackers is still ongoing.

In Iten, a guarded patient, who was nursing   bullet  injuries was "stolen'  from the Iten Hospital.  Armed men stormed in and carried the patient, threatening to shoot. The guards say that they could not act since they were armed and could cause more harm.

The patient is allegedly a well known livestock thief who escaped with a bullet wound from the police inAror.  He was to be released from the hospital and later taken to jail as he awaits judgement. 

The police were able to catch up with them and get the patient back.
