Raila Odinga Junior, son of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Principal Raila Odinga on Thursday held a private meeting with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti.

Taking to social media, Mr. Raila stated that he could not divulge many details over the meeting, but a lot was tackled in relation to DCI transformation and future crime fight.

"It was a private meeting which I can’t disclose much about, but I liked that he was very humble...," stated Odinga Junior. Raila's son expressed his gratitude to the DCI boss for equipping him with knowledge.

Kinoti showed Odinga Junior how he had transformed the DCI. Under Kinoti's reign, DCI has acquired several modern types of equipment in the fight against insecurity.

Under his leadership, DCI has acquired Talino Forensic Workstation, used in crime analysis. The department has also acquired a Universal Forensic Extraction Device (UFED).

UFED helps in analyzing devices and retrieving even the deleted information for crime analysis. Kinoti also unveiled a toll-free number, 0800722203 to help the public in reporting any crime as soon as it occurs.

He has also managed to form a team of investigators, tasked with hunting down criminals linked with credit card fraud and fake documents.
