Mudavadi Criticized For 'Ordering' The Withdrawal Of The Nationwide Curfew

On Thursday, October 14, Mudavadi called upon President Kenyatta to end the ongoing nationwide curfew.

Mudavadi stated that the 10 pm to 4 am curfew is only worsening the already affected nation's economy.

"I call upon President Uhuru Kenyatta to lift the curfew that is aggravating the economic hardships faced by Kenyans under Covid-19", Mudavadi stated in his Twitter account.

He added the prevalence rate has gone down amidst the execution of the nationwide curfew-one of the laid down protocols to regulate the spread of the Covid-19.

The ANC leader, however, urged Kenyans to continue complying with the other established Covid-19 protocols.

The 'hopeless' Kenyans on Twitter, affected by the economic hardships, Criticized Mudavadi's saying he has no position in the government to influence the state's decision. Hence telling him to end the 'empty promises' he is giving Kenyans;

Steve Nicks: Whom can you trust? We can TRUST BABA, he promised a decrease in fuel and it has come to pass. Boss, promise us that Curfew will be lifted so that we can trust you......speak now!

Franke KE: Tell Raila to tell Uhuru.. and you'll see that thing called curfew being lifted immediately... But you being directly involved... It won't happen...

Commander: Presidential candidates are campaigning selling their narratives, addressing huge rallies and you are busy calling Uhuru with a handful of disciples to open the economy. Uhuru is not one of the ur voters. Go search for votes

This comes few weeks after the Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe, announced the extension of the nationwide among other Covid-19 measures.
