Kisii man who Defiled Step-Daughter Arrested
A Kisii man identified as Julius Ogamba Ongera who had sexually assaulted her 6-year-old alleged stepdaughter a week ago in Megogo Village, Marani, Kisii county was finally arrested on Sunday 11th by the directorate of criminal investigations {DCI} officials.

His arrest came after photos of the minor's blood-soaked clothes made trends on social media a move that angered Kenyans who further called for the arrest of the stepfather.

However, investigations from the DCI indicated that Mr. Julius lured her daughter into a thicket where he committed the evil act before escaping.
It is said that after the girl`s situation had deteriorated her mother took her to the Marani sub-county Hospital where nurses discovered that she had been sexually assaulted and immediately informed the police to hasten their probing.
The suspect immediately went into hiding after detectives launched his manhunt. He was later arrested by the detectives from the crime Research and intelligence Bureau alongside Kisii Counterparts at his hideout in Kongasis Kiambogo in Nakuru County.
The suspect will be arraigned in court on Monday 12th.
