Ugandan Athlete Stephen Kissa Drops Out of Men's 10,000m Final

Stephen Kissa a Ugandan Athlete dropped out of the the10,000m Men`s final race on Friday 30th July at 18:52 minutes during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan.

At the beginning of the race, Kissa had set a good pace and all were well. He was being followed by his fellow Ugandan athletes Joshua Cheptegei and Jacob Kiplimo who won Silver and bronze respectively not until he bowed and pulled out of the race 19 minutes to the end game.

While speaking to a local media station in Uganda Stephen said “It was a sacrifice for the team. We had a plan for me to go ahead to make it a fast race. "We [Uganda] were planning for the gold but unfortunately we have silver and bronze. But I'm happy. We have two medals."
