The police in Uasin Gishu are trying to solve a murder mystery after the body of popular fashion designer Edwin Chiloba who was found stashed in a metallic box.

According to a source who revealed to Bright Kenya news, a Bodaboda rider spotted a vehicle that was numberplateless dropping the metal box along the Kipenyo - Kaptinga road in Uasin Gishu County.

The Boda Boda rider Upon intervening alerted the police who also acted swiftly.

The matter was reported to Uasin Gishu police who arrived at the scene and upon opening the box, a decomposing body of a man dressed in a woman's clothes was found inside. The police later identified the lifeless body as that of Fashion Designer and Popular LGBTQ activist Edwin Chilobba.

It was later established that the deceased was Eldoret-based fashion designer Edwin Chiloba.

The body was taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital awaiting post-mortem to establish the cause of death.
May his soul rest in peace.

However, Chiloba`s death comes barely 4 months after he was brutally attacked due to his strong stand of supporting the LGBTQ  move.

In the incident, people against his LGBTQ lifestyle pounced on him and beat him up.

Images seen by this publication after the incident showed how he was injured on his face, there was a large cut on his lips, and blood was seen trickling down from the upper part of his face.

His face was covered in bruises and scrapes, and his clothes were ripped and filthy.

According to a viral video of Mr. Chiloba online while enjoying himself with his peers his outfit showed that he might have been killed on the same day.
