The report sourced by Bright Kenya News indicated that the traffic gridlock started forming at around 7:30 pm and cleared at around 6 am in the morning of Saturday, November 13.

Confirming the incident Nakuru Police Commander Beatrice Kuragui, stated that the traffic occurred after a truck had developed mechanical problems blocking a section of the road.

However, Kuragui also added that the issue had been sorted and the traffic was moving smoothly.

Her immediate actions come barely hours after the stuck motorist took to social media complaining to the Inspector General of Police, Hillary Mutyambai, to send more traffic marshals to the area.
