President Uhuru Receives a Gift from the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has gifted President Uhuru with a model car from the 1962 East African Safari Rally, which finished in Nairobi.

Uhuru received the gift after their bilateral talks in the UK. The full model is a Trofeu 1509 Saab 96 #5 East African Safari Rally 1962 - Pat Moss 1/43 scale.
The gift was symbolic praise for Kenya's successful hosting of the 2021 World Rally Championship which was held in Naivasha.
The actual car was driven by Wisdom-Riley Ann together with her co-driver Moss-Carlsson Pat from Great Britain and finished third in the rally that was dominated by Kenyans.
Uhuru successfully resuscitated the FIA WRC Safari Rally in the country after a 19-year hiatus.
For the first time in many years, Kenyans from all walks of life momentarily forgot that Naivasha was once the center of postelection violence in 2007.
Motorsports enthusiasts jammed the town and mingled freely irrespective of their ethnicity and political ideologies.
Kenya will host the World Rally Championship Safari Rally every year until 2026.
