Continued heavy downpour is being experienced in the country. The rains have caused floods both on roads and in houses. Kawangware area is one of the places that houses have been flooding. Localshave taken to social media, seeking for government intervention
Seven have been reported dead in Gilgil`s Kambi Muhindi from Monday`s heavy rains. The victims are three women and four children.
Parit Surur, the Acting chief of the area have identified the bodies, one woman being his step mother. He has explained that the rains swept away several houses, claiming the lives. Three bodies from the waters are yet to be identified.
