The event will be held by Let's Do It Kenya, which organizes the World Clean Up Day program and other environmental conservation-related initiatives in Kenya. It will hold the clean-up along Kijabe Street.

Let's Do It Kenya is a youth-led civic movement that strives to bring young people together, raise awareness, and advocate for change and a healthy environment.

The event also includes Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS), the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), and the Kenyan National Olympic Committee.

The event is set to take place at the time the world is preparing for World Clean-up Day, which will take place on September 18, 2021.

“It is an honor for us to host President Kersti Kaljulaid at our clean-up event. Her visit is timely as we are just getting set to mark world cleanup day next week,” Let’s Do It Kenya Founder Christine Sayo told a local publication.
