The Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, has gone to pray at the Mount Kenya. He says that he was thankful for the rains. 

"I took time to give thanks to the Almighty for His Grace and Mercy in giving us rain after five failed consecutive seasons, the worst drought in 40 years," he said
