VIDEO: Cop, Motorist Brawl In The Middle Of Mombasa Road

A traffic police officer and a motorist were caught arguing in the middle of the Mombasa Road, causing a traffic jam.

The cop and the motorist are seen rolling down the highway, with the latter pushing the former towards him as they both try to pin each other.

Two more people, who appear to be boda boda riders, can also be seen attempting to separate the two wrestlers.

A bystander with a backpack jumped in to break up the fight.

The cop was able to get away at that point and take a step back from the motorist who was hitting him.

The cop's clothing appeared to be tattered, with the top buttons gone.

His lanyard was also yanked from its place on his clothing. A lanyard is a rope or cord used to carry an object around the shoulder, wrist, or neck.

Guards usually tie it to a whistle tucked into their shirt pocket. It is sometimes used in the military to secure a pistol that is carried in a holster attached to the uniform belt.

The cop dashed to the opposite lane for safety and was seen clutching his chin in discomfort, which was presumably caused by a hefty strike.

He was pursued by the motorist, who got into a furious argument with him.

Onlookers and other motorists appeared to be hearing the cops explain the reason for the altercation. The reason for the fight between the two has yet to be determined.

However, the altercation took place just in front of a parked BMW with its hood open. Other motorists were unable to reach the freeway due to the automobile and another white Nissan Note blocking their way.

Meanwhile, cars were stranded on Mombasa Road for several hours this morning, complaining about being compelled to utilize only one flyover near Allpack Industries. Major metropolitan arteries were congested Wednesday evening, owing in part to political gatherings organized throughout the city.
