Bandari FC Part Ways With Head Coach Andre Casa Mbungo
Bandari FC head coach Andre Casa Mbungo has been sacked by Bandari Football Club.. His assistant Anthony Kimani will be in charge for the remainder of the season.
Andre Mbungo parted ways with Bandari after one year stint at the club, with Mombasa based club citing poor and unconvincing results in the last 6 games.
Rwandese was appointed in January 2021 to succeed the then coach Ken Odhimabo who switched to Sofapaka.
In a statement released by the management, the head coach contract has been terminated and this is a hard decision that the management and the club has taken because of the poor run of games by Bandari FC under Mbungo.
In their last game Bandari FC were held to a draw by KCB earning jus one point from the crucial game.
The board thanked Mbungo for the work and dedication at the club and wished him all the best in his next level of his career.
Bandari FC who are in 8th in Kenya Premier league table , will be looking to improve their current form and restore their lost glory under the leadership of Anthony Kimani and will be assisted by goalkeeper trainer Wilson Oburu.
