According to the Sunday Mirror, Premier League clubs Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers and Arsenal's Mike Arteta are interested in signing Southampton's 27-year-old star Mohamed Elyounoussi. The player has previously displayed impressive performances on both the club front and for his country. Ralph Hasenhuttl's contract with Mohamed Elyounoussi ends in the upcoming summer transfer window, opening up his prospects to aspire for other clubs and opportunities.

Elyounoussi moved from Basel to join Southampton in 2018 for sixteen million euros. In all competitions, he made only nineteen appearances in his initial campaign. For two seasons, the player appeared in the Scottish Premier League for Celtic. During this time and on loan, he registered twelve assists and scored more than twenty goals in all sixty-seven games. The Southampton winger got his country to within almost two points of the group leaders in World Cup qualifying.
