The charged youngsters were seen wearing branded t-shirts hitting bystanders outside bustling commercial premises in a video clip. Nairobi

The three men and two ladies were standing outside one of the shops, marvelling as the massive procession passed by the side of the road's container shops.

As soon as the woman opened her shop, a group of young people charged towards her and bystanders. She entered the shop and was pursued by one of the men who attempted to close the door behind her.

When one of the men with a green baseball hat realized the danger was approaching, he was able to flee just as the throng forced the shop's door open. Five adolescents approached the onlooker who was still on the footpath.

He sought to seek sanctuary in the shop that was being attacked, but he was jinxed. He was, however, yanked from his stall and thrown to the ground. Outnumbered, the kid robbed him and fled with unspecified valuables.

A second woman, who walked out of the shop with her hands in the air, indicating complete submission, was also not spared.

One of the offenders took her handbag, and as if that wasn't enough, she was beaten physically, sustaining a heavy punch to the face, forcing her to flee to the wrecked business.

A portion of Kenyans had conflicting reactions to the CCTV tape, with some admitting to having gone through the same trauma.

Others suggested that business owners exercise caution and temporarily close their stores during rally processions. It is recommended that motorists keep their doors and windows shut.
