More Questions are continuing to rise up about the petition that was filed at the supreme court of Kenya Azimio la Umoja Leader Raila Odinga on August 22nd, 2022.

Uproar as Venezuelan Name Jose Carmago Spotted at IEBC Portal Results

In today's proceedings, Raila Odinga's legal team led by advocate Julie Soweto claimed that Venezuelan national, Jose Carmago, helped in election manipulation.

This came after a Form 34A bearing the name Jose Camargo was presented by Soweto in her submission to the seven-judge bench on Friday, September 2, using a PowerPoint presentation.

According to Julie, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) webpage has a copy of Form 34A with Camargo's name on it.

The ballot belongs to the Muguru ward, Murang'a County, Gacharagu Primary School voting place. She contended that the mere mention of his name is sufficient proof that he was deliberately responsible for tampering with the ballots and forms being posted on the IEBC system.

"At the top-hand left corner there, we have the name of one the Venezuelans Jose Camargo. This is the person who decided the President-elect of the country," she stated.

In addition, Soweto claimed that Azimio La Umoja had already voiced their worries about Camargo and had assurances from the IEBC that they could not hack the system.

"We didn't make this up! We were told that we forged these forms, but this is how, My Lord, the staging was happening. This is on August 9 when we were told they (Venezuelans) did not have access to the system," Soweto lamented.

However, Earlier last month before the August 9th general, the Directorate and Criminal Investigation (DCI) Arrested Salvador Javier Suarez, Jose Castellano, and Joel Garcia, for accessing the IEBC systems allegations.

The three were apprehended while attempting to enter the country through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with IEBC documents.

“It was established that the confiscated exhibits had substantial information held in the IEBC systems are in full control of foreign employees of M/S Smartmatic International Holdings B.V. and Seamless Limited who have been contracted by IEBC," the DCI stated in its report.
