School public functions have been banned

On Tuesday Wilfred Nyagwanga, the Central Regional Commissioner has banned all public functions in schools. He were also warned that learning institutions were out of bounds to visitors, including parents. He also prohibited the institutions for not playing host to vaccination or medical camps initiatives, whether sponsored by the government or individuals.
They also warned principals and headteachers that those found not following, which is geared towards enforcing the Ministry of Health's protocol to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The government is committed to ensuring the attainment of 100 percent transition rate and that no child misses out in joining form one due to lack of school fees," noted Nyagwanga. "I am, therefore, directing County Directors of Education and County Commissioners across the region to ensure that those who qualified report to schools.”
