Raila Set to Address the Nation at 2 PM
Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga is set to address the nation at 2 pm after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission {IEBC}on Monday 15th declared William Samoei Ruto as the fifth president of Kenya.
Odinga has invited all media houses to KICC where he will address the nation.
Perhaps Odinga`s Nation address today will lower the tension that has been building up since Ruto was declared the winner.
Azimio Running mate Martha Karua posted on her Twitter account terming that journey had just begun meaning they weren't satisfied with the results.

Ironically, Outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta have not yet congratulated William Ruto for his big win. This is escalating more mixed reactions among kenyans.
This comes at a time,William Ruto, the deputy president, has been officially gazetted as the president elect.In a gazette notice published on August 16, IEBC chair Wafula Chebuakati reaffirmed that Ruto had been legitimately chosen in accordance with the conditions and guidelines of the Kenyan Constitution of 2010.
Chebukati declared that after being sworn in, Ruto and his deputy-elect, Rigathi Gachagua, will have the authority to govern the nation.
"William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua have been duly elected as the President and Deputy President, respectively, of the Republic of Kenya having complied with the provisions of Article 138 (4) of the Constitution, during the General Election held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022," Chebulati stated.
Former Prime Minister Odinga Raila won 6,942,930 votes, or 48.85% of the total, while William Ruto received 7,176,141 votes, or 50.4% of the total.
