The party also stated that before making a final decision, the party's top organ requested extra time to look into it and find any ambiguities.

While addressing the media in Naivasha after the party conducted a national executive committee, the party added that the party’s legal team had been instructed to seek clarity on any existing grey areas and prepare a detailed brief to the National executive committee( NEC).

The statement comes barely hours after Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that he was willing to sign a coalition agreement with ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking during an interview with an online source, Kalonzo further added that he was willing to work with Raila even for the twentieth time.

“I have said to the Kenyan people, my beloved countrymen and women that this is where wear ae. If they tell me to support  Raila Odinga the twentieth time I will but they will know.” Said Kalonzo during the interview.

Martha Karua led the party and issued the statement hours before the one Kenya alliance signed an agreement coalition with the Azimio coalition in an event that was scheduled for today, March 2, 2022.
