Stanley Livondo now says he has provided the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) with all the necessary information concerning allegations he made over the weekend of attempts to assassinate President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Livondo: I Provided the DCI with Names on President Kenyatta Assassination Claim

While speaking on Monday evening outside the DCI headquarters in Nairobi after recording his statement, Livondo said he had provided the DCI with a list of those he claims were behind the plot.

“All information, everything they wanted is available. I have even urged them to bring the FBI, Scotland Yard, and Mossad from Israel on board. Some of the activities in the assassination plot involved the Middle East,” said the former Lang’ata parliamentary aspirant.

“I have provided names, the people who were involved, the mercenaries, and a list of witnesses ready to shed light on this very serious matter.”

Livondo maintained that his claims are true and he is ready to defend them until the alleged mercenaries are brought to book.

“This is not a matter to joke about, we are talking about people wanting to kill the Head of State here. These are not any other political utterances, I am a leader and I am responsible for whatever I say,” he stated.

Livondo was summoned by Police Superintendent Kuriah Obadiah from the Directorate's In-charge Serious Crime Unit.

The businessman’s comments which were made at Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria’s thanksgiving party in Thika on Saturday involved unnamed people who had tried to assassinate President Kenyatta twice.

The alleged assassination attempts, according to Livondo, involved ‘crashing’ aircraft used by the Head of State.

However, MP Moses Kuria has since distanced himself from Livondo’s remarks which he termed as reckless, urging the DCI to investigate the businessman.
