Reasons For Atwoli's "East Africa Single Constitution" Agenda

According to the Central Organization of Trade Union General Secretary, One constitution for the East African Counties is needed because of the following:

1. The region will have a political federation that allows free movement of the citizens in and out of the countries. Enabling them to work freely within the territories.

2. East Africa Countries will be able to move and find opportunities all over the region, solving the crisis of inadequate resources within Nairobi and other Countries across East Africa.

Atwoli's opinion comes a few days after Deputy President Doctor William Ruto made a similar call to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on July 7.

Deputy President speaking during the official laying of the foundation stone for a vaccine manufacturing facility in Matuga, Uganda affirmed that Museveni should ensure The East Africa Federation is realized in the next two to three years.

In the event where William Ruto was the Official Guest, both leaders revealed their commitment to enhancing locally manufactured vaccines within Africa.

Museveni also affirmed that locally manufactured vaccines would be a great step for the African content to be put on the map in terms of innovation.
