On his Monday post on Twitter, the former medical doctor stated that he will attract a serious multinational investor this year when elected. He is willing to unseat the current governor DR. Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya.

"This year I will attract a serious multinational investor to exploit the 200 billion shilling worth of gold in Ikolomani, Shinyalu, and Lurambi for wealth and job creation in Kakamega County".

However, his excitement was met with skepticism by Kenyans on Twitter, who claimed that the ex-senator was jockeying his aspirations.

"You have been MP, Senator, member of Public Accounts and investments committees in parliament and suddenly now you realize that there are resources in your home that need an investor?". One fan complained.

Another Twitter user claimed that while the former senator was still in office, he did nothing to assist her, and that governing a county will be a difficult assignment for him.

"While you were an MP at my home in ikolomani you did absolutely nothing n you know it. How will you manage the entire county? Please you joke too much. Ulininyima pia bursary nikiwa Lirhembe hadi I stayed home for a year without joining high school and I had passed". She added.

"You were mp the area mp and senator what did you do that you want to do as a governor? Even the Bible says if you cannot be trusted with small things how can you be trusted with bigger things shindwe". Added another fan.
