Kiambu MCA Dies Of Covid-19 Complications

A dark cloud of sorrow has befallen Kiambu county residents from Muguga Ward who have been thrown into grief following their Member of County Assembly (MCA) Eliud Ngugi Ngige's death which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.
The late assembly member reportedly gave up his ghost while receiving medical attention at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital.
Close sources indicate that Eliud lost his battle to the Covid-19 pandemic complications, after having been hospitalized for some days.
Jubilee party is yet to issue an official statement regarding the legislator's demise, although various individuals have since registered their condolences.
Eliud's death comes only a few weeks after Juja MP's death which occurred on February 22, after having fought brain cancer for a period of time. The late Francis (Wakapee) Waititu passed away at the Aga Khan hospital.
The race to replace Wakapee is reportedly gaining momentum with various contestants among them his widow Susan Njeri, and Inooro radio presenter Zulu Thiong'o.
