Locust Invasion In Kitui County; Is It A Sign Of the End-time?

Locust invaded the country back then before corona came. The locusts could invade the green vegetation in large swarms and eat everything green they could find.
Recently, a swarm of locusts were reported to have invaded parts of Kitui county and landed in different farms causing fears from the members of the community. The locust poses a great challenge now that it is harvest time and could tremendously affect farm produce and other vegetation. The Locusts are referred to as desert locusts, which some claim could be a sign of the end of the world. It has left residents wondering if it is a sign of the end of the age or it is a curse upon their lands. Residents have been hearing about the locusts but today they had a first-hand experience of them. They tried all they could to disperse the locusts as some have invaded their farms and are affecting their vegetation.
Could this be the signs of the end of the world? Or is it a plaque sent to warn the residents of something? These are some of the questions that could be ringing in the minds of many residents and even the entire country at large. I want to encourage you that do not to fear and am going to share some of the signs that will usher in the end of the world. The references are from the Bible book, Matthew 24 which specifies the signs of the end of the age;
- You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
- Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
- There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
All these are the beginnings of birth pains.
Additionally, signs of the end of the age are that many false prophets will appear and deceive many. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, BUT he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Whether we have locusts, corona, or even anything else that may come upon the earth, your part is just to stand firm and be strong in the Lord Jesus Christ; in Him, we live, move, and have our being and thus HE is the center of everything. All the happenings in the world could be a sign or not, but one thing for sure is that the end will one day surely come.
A question to ask is where will you be; will you be on the sheep's or the goat's side?
Jesus assured us that we should rejoice because if we believe in Him, our names are written in the Book of Life (Luke 10:20); our names are written in Heaven if we believe in Jesus Christ.
