Kenya Excluded from Africa Cup Of Nations Preliminary Qualifying Round
The preliminary qualifying round of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations is underway this weekend with several matches lined up.
On Wednesday, In Port Louis, Mauritius, Seychelles will host Lesotho while in Alexandria, Egyptian, Djbouti will play host to South Sudan.
All teams except Mauritius were forced to play in other countries because their stadiums do not meet international standards. Aggregate winners qualify for the group phase with the first two matchdays scheduled for June.
However, Kenya's Harambee Stars will not feature in the qualifiers owing to a Fifa ban.
