President Uhuru Kenyatta's led party Jubilee has denied claims that the outspoken party Vice-chair Murathe had stepped down.

A report by the party labeled the claims as false, adding that Murathe still continues to dispense his roles under the said capacity.

"It has come to our attention that there are reports...alleging that the Jubilee Party Vice-Chair, Hon. David Murathe has resigned...

...We would like to clarify that such reports are false. Hon. David Murathe remains our able Vice-Chair and continues to carry out his duties in that capacity...," read Jubilee statement in part.

The party further called upon its supporters to treat such as false claims, adding that any structural change can only be communicated from above.

According to Jubilee Communications Director  Abert Memusi, the party is currently paying keen attention to ensuring service delivery to the Kenyans, while completing its reign before 2022.

Kenyatta's administration has since laid down the Big Four Agenda, which the president intends to leave behind as his legacy when his regime ends next year.

Before leaving office, President Kenyatta focuses to leave behind affordable healthcare, food security, a stable manufacturing sector, and affordable housing.
