Friend stabs man to death

According to the police report, Peter Ekai (victim)and Elphas Kipkoech (alleged assailant) were on a drinking spree at Longisa trading center in Kamagut. Ekai is said to have accused Kipkoech of plotting to have him fired from ChapChap security agency where he worked as a guard. Enkai was convinced that KIpkoech had was orchestrating his downfall so as to replace him at the security agency.
Kipkoech denied this and the argument became heated reportedly was already drunk and, started attacking each other using sharp objects. Ekai was stabbed in the chest and died from his injuries at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital where he had been rushed for treatment. Kipkoech was also stabbed and once his injuries were treated he was taken to the Eldoret Police Station to face murder charges
