BREAKING: Three‘ Wash Wash’ Suspects Arrested
A week following blogger Edgar Obare's revelation, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have identified three people accused of money laundering.

The three were apprehended on the night of Thursday, September 2, by DCI's Transnational Organized Crime investigators at an apartment in Nairobi's upmarket Kileleshwa estate, according to a statement.

The suspects were discovered in possession of a variety of phony local and foreign currencies, as well as equipment thought to be used in the manufacture of fake currencies, according to the DCI. Even as the inquiry moves further, the three are being questioned.
