Fresh details about a man who was filmed beating his wife with what appeared to be a belt before tossing their alleged four-month-old son on the wall have now emerged.

According to details by bright Kenya news, the video that made trends on social media was shot in Kenya`s neighboring country Tanzania and it is from a Swahili movie.

The movie dubbed Sitamani Kuolewa Tena (I don't want to be married again) depicts the precise moment in which an enraged husband causes a dispute with his wife, resulting in a violent battle.

After hitting his wife for several minutes, the man walks over to where the child is laying on the floor, takes him up, and tosses him against the wall while continuing to strike his wife.

The Video was however alleged that the incident happened in Murang`a county where according to the police,  it happened on Tuesday, January 25, and the case was reported by the suspect’s father. at Kihumbuini police station.

The police report further alleged that incident has was reported by Samuel Kiguro Njuguna who was awakened by his daughter-in-law Mary Muthoni Kariuki who informed him of the incident where her husband had dropped their four-month-old son on the concrete floor.

The presumed father of the four-year-old son had previously intimidated his wife not to speak up about what was going on.

Mark Njuguna, a 23-year-old man, was caught on camera fighting with his wife Mary Muthoni and dropping their son to the ground where he died. Further information also stated that the man threw the child after conducting a DNA Paternity test which revealed that he wasn't the biological father of the child.

However, the wife sneaked out and alerted her neighbors who responded to the situation

The situation was examined and the body was moved to General Kago Mortuary in Thika awaiting post-mortem.

The alleged father has been apprehended at the Kihumbuini police station.

The video sparked outrage among Kenyans online, with some mistaking a segment from the film for true footage. This, however, was not the case.
