Magoha warned teachers and supervisors of serious penalties if they were found supporting exam cheating while speaking in Mombasa, where he oversaw the exam implementation.

"There haven't been any major incidents in primary school exams; we eliminated cartels, he stated.

"We've observed they've started a new one," the CS explained.

Magoha, on the other hand, stated that the two students who were discovered with phones will be permitted to take the exam.

"I'd want to issue a warning to any instructor who is daring enough to open the exam papers ahead of time. He went on to say. We'll come for you."

"We had two of the candidates with cell phones this morning," we'll let them sit for the tests.

This morning, 831,026 candidates began their exam, which is being administered in over 10,000 locations.
