Two Gang Members Shot Dead in Kayole, Several Escape.
Police in Kayole have gunned down two suspected gang members with four others escaping with several injuries.

The six-man gang known to be terrorizing area residents had attacked a middle-aged man and inflicted him with serious stab wounds at Njiru area when two police officers came to his aid.
When two police officers arrived to his rescue, the attackers had attacked and injured the man as he walked home, then robbed him of his goods, according to a report released by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday.

“Two officers based at Soweto police station who were on foot patrol responded to the distress calls on time, as the boisterous gang took leave casually, having accomplished their mission.”

Two thugs who had attacked a middle aged man were fatally wounded by police officers Wednesday night, as they escaped from the scene of the incident in Njiru, Nairobi County.
The group was identified by the DCI, as the Kayole six.
“As a result, two of the thugs were fatally wounded as their four accomplices fled the scene heavily inflicted with gunshot injuries. One firearm and a bloodstained knife used in attacking the innocent civilian were recovered from the suspects,” added the DCI.
The injured citizen was transported to a municipal hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition, with the assistance of members of the public who witnessed the occurrence.
According to police the two dead thugs have been moved to city mortuary awaiting identification as manhunt continues for the rest of the suspect who managed to escape.
