The Late Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli to Be Buried Today
Tanzania’s former President Magufuli will be buried today in his hometown in Chato, North West of Tanzania.

The late Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli who succumbed to heart complications will be buried today. However, on Monday there was an official funeral conducted at the capital, Dodoma and since then his funeral cortege has been making its way through the country.
Tanzania’s President Samia Hassan will lead the country during the burial ceremony of the fallen President.
President Suluhu has tweeted recently thanking everyone who supported them during the mourning period. “Everyone who has supported comforted and sent us condolence messages during this difficult and trying time for our nation”.
Days before the burial of the fallen President, Tanzanian police have arrested four people for allegedly mocking his death.
According to the regional police head, those people intended to cause chaos and breach of peace.
Tanzania has suspended all the public activities during the 21 days that have been announced for mourning President Magufuli.
