"Raila's Loud Silence Is A Show Of Betrayal" Raila's Crusade Claim
The Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga's crusade is accusing him of betrayal following his 'loud silence' on the increased fuel price.
While expressing their pains and sufferings brought by the hiked fuel prices, Raila's supporters on Thursday, September 16 accused him of failing in his duties as the opposition leader.
The crusade claims the main role of the opposition leader is to reprimand the government, something they affirm the Orange Democratic Movement party leader is not doing.
They added that Raila and his ally, the Chair of the Finance Committee, Gladys Wanga have resisted any effort to have taxes on fuel lowered despite their positions in the government.
The disappointed enthusiasts are now calling for the former Prime minister to beseech President Uhuru Kenyatta to reduce the fuel prices.
Raila should speak about the high #FuelPrice . We voted him as the official leader of opposition and it is his duty to reprimand the government. His loud silence is a show of betrayal. Waol gi uwiii

Talk to your MP, to talk to Gladys Wanga (Chair Finance Committee Parliament) to talk to Raila, to talk to Uhuru, to lower the #FuelCost . Then, don't forget how they made you feel. #2022PayBackTime pic.twitter.com/lxbDSS2kmZ

The defenders' accusation of betrayal comes two days after the state increased the fuel price by more than 50% on Tuesday, September 2021.
