President Uhuru Kenyatta's Complete List of Appointed Ambassadors
With less than four months until his retirement, President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed new ambassadors and high commissioners to represent Kenya in various countries around the world.

“The President has appointed 24 new ambassadors and high commissioners as heads of mission of Kenya Missions abroad. The President has also appointed 7 new ambassadors who will serve as Deputy Heads of Mission and 4 officials to the post of Consul-General,” read the statement from Statehouse.
Among those appointed are Dennis Waweru and Thomas Kwaka Omolo, aka Big Ted.

In addition, President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed an Ambassador and Special Envoy for the Maritime and Blue Economy. Six senior Foreign Service Officers were also promoted to the rank of ambassador.
The appointments were announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
