Due to bad weather planes to Jomo Kenyatta International  Airport have been diverted to Wilson Airport. This is a statement from Fly Safarilink to their clients. They have not disclosed how long the planes would be landing at JKIA. Experts say that aircraft dispatcher training prepares dispatchers to deal with expected and unexpected diversions from the planning phase and on. 

On Monday, the Kenya Meteorological Department warned that there would be a 7-day total rainfall of 1-10mm expected over some parts of Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Taita Taveta, Makueni, Tana River, Garissa, Turkana, and Coastal Counties.
