PHOTOS: Man Nailed On a tree for Stealing A radio in Vihiga County
A 19-year-old man Collins Sambaya in Vihiga county, Sabatia sub-county was nailed on a tree on Friday 18th February by one suspect identified as Elvis Irime for allegedly stealing his Radio.

According to details from a source privy to this publication, North Izava location chief namely Evans Endesha reported to Kilingili police station, Lunyerere police post that he received information at around 16:07 hrs under OB number 07/18/02/2022 that colins had been nailed on a tree over theft allegations.

When the police acted on the matter and decided to visit the scene they found colins nailed on a tree by the suspects. It is believed that the accused had stolen the radio in Chamasili village MR XR 938240 about 8kms North of the station.
However, the assailant suspect (Elvis Irime) fled to unknown destinations upon seeing the police arriving at the scene.

The victim Sambaya was successfully rescued and rushed to Mbale referral hospital where he is currently receiving treatment and in a stable condition.
