Outrage as Power Goes off in Parts of Nairobi, Mt.Kenya
Kenyans on Twitter expressed their anger after there was a power blackout across the entire country on Wednesday 2nd November in part of some afternoon.
The blackout occurred between 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
This seemed to have affected the normalcy of different companies that majorly depend on the electricity supply in the entire grid to smoothly run their business.
The Electricity power supply in the country, however, responding to the mess stated that they lost the [power supply due to system disturbances thus affecting some parts of Nairobi, Mt Kenya, and other coastal parts.
"We lost the power supply due to system disturbances affecting parts of Nairobi, the coast, and some parts of the Mt. Kenya region.
They however assured the citizens that they are working tirelessly to restore power in the affected areas.
"We are working on collaborations with other players to restore the power supply as soon as possible. An update on the restoration process will be issued in due course.
They also further apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience caused".
