A shocking incident was reported in the Runda area Thika after the body of a second-year student was found dangling in a bathroom.

The student who has been identified as Graca Nyamokami was found dead in her room in a move which was alleged to be a suicidal case.
According to information shared by other students, Nyamokami was a chemistry and biology student. She lived alone in one of the apartments in the Runda area and until her demise, she had been having psychological troubles and even had shown red flags after writing on her status about ‘lights off.’


However, there was no suicidal letter left behind by the deceased but according to friends she had cleared her chats in her phone and had left her door easily accessible contrary to her normal behaviour.

The body was transferred to General Khago funeral home as probing by the police commences. 
Cases of students dying mysteriously with others taking their own lives have increased.
In may a Mount Kenya University student was stabbed to death by her boyfriend in a love triangle and before that, a male student died out of internal bleeding after jumping off the seventh floor of the institution’s Chancellor’s Tower building. 


On the other hand, on September 29th a female first-year student was fatally stabbed at Laikipia University by an alleged roommate’s lover.
The student who was identified as Gertrude Chepkoech was stabbed multiple times by a man who is suspected of being her roommate's boyfriend.
