According to online sources, the outspoken lawyer exposed this on his social media accounts.

"Today, I visited the IEBC's Mobile Station in Toronto and made sure I am on the Voters' Register," Miguna posted.

The IEBC appreciated his visit, stating "Miguna Miguna was among the many Kenyans living in Canada, who visited Kenya High Commission office and Consulates to register as a voter, change particulars or transfer their voting station from Kenya to Canada.”

“Voter registration is ongoing in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver for 15 days," the post on the IEBC’s platform added.

IEBC continues to conduct mass voter registration across the country and in the diaspora in preparation for the August 9 elections.

On the other hand, Kenyans questioned why Miguna's return to the nation has never been facilitated, despite his successful visit to the IEBC center.

Meanwhile, as of January 31, the IEBC had registered 548,188 new voters out of a target of 2,987,138. In addition, the commission handled 130,320 requests for polling station transfers and 989 requests for changes to identification papers.

The exercise will end in Kenya on February 6, 2022, and in the diaspora on the 15th day after it began.
