Liverpool Six Goal Thriller Moves Them Closer to Manchester City
Liverpool title race dreams are still on the course after they defeated Leeds United 6 goals to nil in their Premier League clash at Anfield on Wednesday 23rd.

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane brace ensured that the reds move closer to the champions Manchester City who are just 3 points adrift.
Salah opened the scoring with a penalty after a handball foul inside the box on Robertson's cross at 15 minutes of their playing time.
Salah's assist to set up Joel Matip for a goal ensured that the reds got the second goal at 30th leaving their opponents disappointed.
Sadio Mane made a run inside the box after picking across from the Egyptian again and was fouled by the Leeds defender. The referee awarded them a second penalty which Salah converted from the spot to ensure Red’s dominance by 3 goals in the 35th minute.
A poor clearance by the Leeds goalkeeper Meslier is picked up by Jordan Henderson who with Salah teamed up to set Sadio Mane for scoring.
Mane also got a second goal after the rebound by Origi’ strike before the defender Van Dyke header closed the scoring.
The Reds' win moved 3 points closer to Manchester City who now stands at 63 points in the premier league table.
Man City is expected to put up a spirited fight in their next game against Everton on Saturday to remain at the top of the premier league and to increase their chances of defending their premier league title.
