Governor Lee Kinyanjui Calls For A Total Lockdown To Tame The Spread Of Covid 19.
Nakuru county governor honorable Lee Kinyanjui now says that a total lockdown is the only way to tame the spread of Covid 19, saying that half measures are not working since during the day, people mingle anyhow.

Governor Kinyanjui said that looking at what has happened in other countries where authorities were reluctant to put a total lockdown from the start and the results were disastrous; they are now calling for a total lockdown to save residence from getting infected with this deadly disease.

“We would rather fight the consequences of hunger than the consequences of 10,000, 20,000 people infected…,” Said Governor Lee Kinyanjui.
While addressing the press, the Nakuru county boss said that as a county, their capacity to manage medical cases that require ICU is very limited and therefore if the disease is allowed to continue spreading there is going to be a total disaster in the near future.
The governor also added that the public are just living as if Covid 19 does not exist despite the awareness and the education given to them, he now pleads with the national government to place a total lockdown immediately.
