DP Gachagua flags Off 1st consignment of Fertilizers As Munya Misses the Event
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua flagged off the first consignment of subsidized fertilizer to various parts of the country on Thursday 22nd, September.

Apparently the out going Agricurtiral cabinet secretary Peter Minya missed teh event amove which exited mixed reactions among diffrent socoal media users.
Samson Cherargei, a senator from Nandi and a close supporter of Gachagua and President William Ruto, criticized Munya for not showing up to the news conference.
“CS Munya's absence in flagging off of subsidised fertilisers by DP Gachagua is gross indiscipline, violation of code of ethics and disdain attitude towards government.
“He must be punished accordingly. Is he working for Kenyans or Azimio?” Cherargei wondered.
A few hours after Ruto's administration forbade departing CSs from traveling abroad, Munya vanished. In an effort to limit the authority of the CSs, the civil servants will request Ruto's approval before traveling abroad.
The strongest opponents of Ruto and Gachagua included CSs Munya, Fred Matiang'i (Interior), and Joe Mucheru (ICT). The three ran the campaigns for Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate for Azimio La Umoja.
Agriculture CS, Peter Munya was seen to support Azimio la Umoja coalition during the campaigns and this has made the Nandi senator urge him to work with the current government in order to provide the best services to Kenyans as the campaigns are over.
