BREAKING: David Moyes Agrees to a New 3-Year Deal with Westham
Coach David Moyes has agreed to a new 3-year contract at West Ham and the deal is close to being finalized.
The move comes after the Hammers secured 6th place in the Premier League last season which gives them a chance to play for the Europa League competition.
David Moyes was the head coach for a six-month span at West Ham during the 2017/18 season and rejoined the club in December 2019 after Manuel Pellegrini was sacked.
Initially, Moyes was linked with a return to Everton earlier in June following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid.
While speaking after the Hammers secured a position Europa League on the final day of the season, Moyes said: "I think it's a huge achievement from where we came from. It's the biggest step the club has ever made - to jump this far is incredible. We are in a really good place at the moment.”
