Amani National Congress [ANC] principal Musalia Mudavadi has rubbished rumors that some politicians had endorsed him to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

Mudavadi affirmed that he pegged his hope on no one in his race to the top office. "I’m not waiting to be handed leadership. I can tell you that the password to the presidency is in numbers," stated Mudavadi calling upon all to register as voters.

The ANC principal was addressing mourners in Maragoli north, Vihiga county, during the send-off for Mzee Francis Chogo who was at one time the Vihiga municipal mayor.

He pointed that his aim as the head of state was transforming the Kenyan lives, and breathing life into the bleeding economy.

He pledged that once elected, he will focus on revival for the economy, in addition to creating jobs for the youths. He urged voters to keenly vet any aspirant before electing him or her.

Mudavadi further warned the public not to accept being dragged into ethnic issues, and divisions by politicians racing to sell their manifesto.

The leader was accompanied by the Cotu Boss Francis Atwoli, legislators Ayub Savula, Alfred Agoi, Ernest Kagesi, Beatrice Adagala among other Ward representatives.
