30 people are being held at Kehancha police station in Migori county after being caught drinking beyond the curfew hours

30 people are being held at Kehancha police station in Kuria west sub county, Migori county after being caught drinking beyond curfew hours.
Kuria west Police Commander, Cleti Kimaiyo, confirmed the culprits in custody were caught from three separate operating beyond the recommended curfew hours.
The arrest was done within Kehancha town as police were mounting a crackdown to ensure that the curfew orders are enforced.
Among the arrested were the employees to the different bars who were violating the laws of selling alcohol as well as the new health directives.
The employees were also found guilty of hiding their customers inside the bars.
The culprits will be arraigned in court on Monday 29,2021.
