Reggae Is Back After the Elections- Otiende Amollo
Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo has assured Kenyans that the BBI reggae will be back after the august elections.
Speaking after the Supreme Court judgement the legislator said that the Building Bridges Initiative would come back after the election.
Amollo represented the BBI proponents at the courts defending their position. He has further stated that the ruling by the Supreme court has given Clarity on issues represented to the court.
“The decision the Supreme Court has rendered on BBI brings CLARITY on issues that've been of debate... I am particularly thrilled that many of the arguments I submitted which the Court of Appeal did not find favor with, the Supreme Court did find favor with.”
The supreme Court was supposed to provide ruling on seven issues that had been presented to the court.
- If the Basic structure is applicable in Kenya
- If the President can initiate a constitutional amendment through the popular initiative.
- If BBI's new 70 Constituencies were constitutional.
- If Civil proceedings can be instituted against a sitting President during his tenure.
- If public participation was conducted by the promoters of the process.
- If IEBC was legally constituted with 3 Commissioners.7
- If the referendum questions is ripe in Kenya.
On his part, ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna welcomed the decision saying that
The BBI Process had only two problems out of the seven issues raised.
“Only two problems with the BBI process according to the Courts. The initiator. That schedule of constituencies. Nothing else.”

The initiator.
That schedule of constituencies.
Nothing else.
ION, lawyers take pride in Courts adopting their submissions.
Then there are these ones who end up in the judgment for social media delinquency.
